چکیده

This article aims to understand the role of playfulness in Elementary School classroom - Final Years, Bom Jesus da Lapa Bahia, public educational context and has as a way collaborating for student’s development teaching learning process. language skills English, well offering teachers pedagogical training on use games recreational activities tool that facilitates creativity interest building knowledge new language. Based bibliographic research, we used following authors theoretical frameworks: Kishimoto (2011), Nicholls (2001), Feijó (1992), Santos (2006). The methodology was action research developed at Escola Municipalizada Edivaldo Boaventura. Data were collected through semi-structured questionnaires with applied questions, interpreted, light systematized approaches. results showed favorable acceptance playful final years, due consensus presented games, where student not only fun, but also fully develops their potential.
